Gaming tags need game-specific structure — title, platform, mode, and patch matter more than generic 'gaming' tags. This template covers the full set.
| Section | Copy-paste template |
|---|---|
| Game title | {game title}, {game title} gameplay, {game title} {year} |
| Platform + mode | {game} {platform}, {game} multiplayer, {game} solo, {game} ranked |
| Content type | {game} lets play, {game} tutorial, {game} highlights, {game} montage |
| Long-tail | how to {outcome} in {game}, best {game} {strategy}, {game} {patch} update |
| Brand + channel | {channel name}, {channel name} {game} |
Lead with the exact game title — that's the highest-intent tag. Add platform (PC/PS5/Xbox) and mode. Update patch/season tags when the game updates.
Start with the exact game title, then platform, mode, content type, and long-tail how-to queries. Generic 'gaming' alone does nothing.
Moderately — title and thumbnail matter more, but tags help match misspellings and platform variants.
When the game patches or a new season drops, refresh the patch/season tags on new videos.
