4. Data Storage & Security
YT SEO Architect employs a client-side-first storage architecture. The vast majority of your data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage. This includes your OAuth access token, detected niche, credit balance, chat history with the AI Coach, and analysis results. This means your data lives on your device, not on our servers.
When you trigger an AI-powered action (such as generating a script, running an audit, or asking the AI Coach a question), your data is transmitted securely over HTTPS to our serverless API endpoints hosted on Vercel's edge network. The data is processed in-memory by Groq's AI inference engine and the response is returned immediately. We do not persist your channel data, video metadata, or conversation history on our servers. Each API request is stateless — once the response is delivered, the request data is discarded.
All communications between your browser and our API endpoints are encrypted using TLS 1.3. Our serverless infrastructure runs on Vercel's SOC 2 Type II certified platform, ensuring enterprise-grade security controls including network isolation, access logging, and automated vulnerability scanning.
5. Third-Party Services
Our platform integrates with the following third-party services:
Google/YouTube Data API v3: Used to read and write your channel's metadata, playlists, and comments. Governed by Google's API Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Groq AI: Used for all AI inference (script generation, SEO analysis, chat responses). Your prompts and context data are sent to Groq's API for processing. Groq does not use customer data for training and deletes request data after processing. See Groq's privacy policy at groq.com/privacy.

Each of these operations requires explicit user action — no write operation is performed automatically or without your direct and manual trigger.
The Platform includes comprehensive safety mechanisms such as proposal review stages, confirmation dialogs, and backup snapshots (for playlist reordering) to minimize the risk of unintended changes. However, despite these safeguards, you acknowledge that write operations to the YouTube API are structurally irreversible in many cases. While the Platform provides a "Restore Original Order" function for playlist reordering via our local caching memory, other modifications (such as applied metadata changes) may need to be manually reverted one-by-one through YouTube Studio. We strongly recommend taking manual local backups or text exports of your current metadata before applying batch or bulk changes.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, totally secure, completely error-free, or that any specific optimization outcome will be reliably achieved. YouTube's algorithm is a largely proprietary, black-box ecosystem that changes frequently; strategies that drive massive velocity today may be patched out or rendered completely ineffective tomorrow. While we rigorously update our backend prompts, the Platform provides guidance based on best-effort analysis, and cannot guarantee deterministic outcomes.
9. Service Availability, Infrastructure, and Deprecation
We strive to maintain high availability (99.9% uptime) for the Platform, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Platform relies fundamentally on complex external third-party services (Vercel Edge computing, Groq AI Low-Latency Inference, YouTube Data API v3 endpoints, Google OAuth Authentication) that may individually or collectively experience downtime, unannounced rate limiting, IP blocking, or service disruptions entirely outside our administrative control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, temporarily disable, or completely discontinue any feature—or the entire Platform—at any time, with or without notice to users. In the event of a total platform sunset, we are not liable for the loss of local storage states, un-applied generated drafts, or disruptions to your content scheduling processes.
10. Termination and Account Deregistration
You may gracefully stop using the Platform at any time. To completely sever ties with our systems, you must independently revoke OAuth access through your Google Account settings dashboard and clear your local browser's storage caches. Because we do not store server-side account profiles, this local wipe combined with the Google OAuth revocation constitutes a complete account deletion.
We reserve the right to forcefully terminate or restrict access at the network level to users who flagrantly violate these Terms, engage in abusive technical behavior, or weaponize the Platform against the general well-being of the creator community.
11. Dispute Resolution, Governing Law, and Arbitration
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable general commercial laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any sweeping disputes arising from the use of the Platform must first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If an initial resolution cannot be reached within 30 days of written notice, the dispute shall be submitted to binding, confidential arbitration.
This arbitration will take place under the standard commercial rules of a recognized arbitration authority. The arbitrator's ruling shall be binding and non-appealable. You agree to waive your right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against YT SEO Architect and its development administrators.
12. Severability and Complete Agreement
If any provision of these extensive Terms is found to be unenforceable, unlawful, or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that specific provision shall be limited, amended, or eliminated to the absolute minimum extent necessary so that the overarching Terms shall otherwise remain in full operational force and legal effect. These Terms constitute the entirety of the agreement between the User and the Platform.
